Magnetic Continent
Exactly 30 years ago, in 1991, I left on my first mission to Terre Adélie. Since then, I’ve spent almost 4 years in this part of the world. Why such an attraction? The Earth is so vast… This addiction is the “Antarctic cock”. Like all my fellow polar adventurers, past and present, I’m unable to put into words what it is that inevitably draws us to these remote and hostile regions. I wanted to share my thoughts on this strange charm through a personal filmic form, mixing poetry and interior narrative in an attempt to share, as accurately and emotionally as possible, this curious magnetism.
